Daughters of Themis: International Network of Female Business Scholars

Daughters of Themis: International Network of Female Business Scholars offers a forum for open and inspiring discussions about female business scholars’ common area of interest and the joys and challenges of being female scholars. The Network is open to participation by all female scholars in areas of scholarship pertaining to business, including all relevant disciplines, such as law, economics, management and administration, political science, sociology and natural sciences.

The name of the network, Daughters of Themis: International Network of Female Business Scholars, is inspired by Themis, the Greek goddess of justice.

Daughters of Themis organises annual workshops for its members, which are usually held in a harmonious venue in Greece, conducive to in-depth academic discussions and good conversations. A call for papers is issued in the fall for the workshop in the early summer of the following year.

Female business scholars wishing to join Daughters of Themis may apply online. If you are on Facebook, you can ask to be added to the group Daughters of Themis: International Network of Female Business Scholars. On Twitter, please use the hashtag #DaughtersofThemis.

Questions may be directed to Beate Sjåfjell.
