Call for papers for the Interdisciplinary Conference on Migration: Vulnerability, Protection, and Agency, in Oslo 24-25 May 2018, under the auspices of the University of Oslo, Faculty of Law.
The 14th Annual Conference of the European Society of International Law will be held at The University of Manchester on 13 - 15 September 2018.
At present we are witnessing a state of flux in international law, economics and politics. Unstable financial markets, failed states, forced and clandestine migration, increased regional, cultural, and religious polarization, as well as the phenomenon of transnational organized crime present formidable challenges.
Leading female academics were gathered at Hotel Bristol August 6th and 7th to discuss topics in international law. Cecilia Bailliet hopes the conference can help create a women's network within international law.
