Student guide to IT at the Faculty of Law

New to the Faculty of Law?

Read this short guide with frequently asked questions about IT-services at the faculty. 

1. Access to the IT-systems?

As an exchange-student at the Faculty of Law, under the Erasmus or the Norplus Program, you have access to the faculty’s computer resources with an UiO username and password.

Juriteket can provide you with an UiO username and password either by personal attendance or we can send it to the address that you are registered with in StudentWeb. Please use the contact form if you want us to send you your UiO username and password.

Also, note that we are prohibited to give out passwords by email.

 

2. Need a computer / internet access?

You can access the internet on the computer lab computers, by an on-campus wireless connection or by the Student Residential Housing Network.

The Faculty of Law has 6 computer labs across campus that provide free access to computers with software such as Window 7 Enterprise, Microsoft Office 2007 and Adobe Reader 9.

 

3. Need a printer?

4. What about wifi?

If you've got a laptop or wifi-enabled smart phone, you can connect to the University's wifi network.
