The Learning Centre

The Learning Centre at Domus Nova gives students at the Faculty of Law access to computers, discussion rooms, study places and course books – all on one level. You need a student card to enter the Learning Centre.

PCs and wireless network

In addition to standard PC work stations there is a wireless network in the Learning Centre so you can access the internet with your own computer.

Printers and photocopiers

The Learning Centre has three printers. Everyone who has paid a photocopying fee can take print-outs. Photocopiers are operated by a photocopying card. Photocopying cards can be bought in Akademika, from vending machines in the Learning Centre or in the Faculty of Law Library on Karl Johans gate.

Discussion rooms/group rooms

There are 12 discussion rooms/group rooms in the Learning Centre. The rules for reserving and using the rooms are displayed by/in the individual room. Three corner rooms with moveable tables can also be used by smaller groups (2-3).

Study places

A department in the Learning Centre has been allocated for silent study places.

Course books and other literature

Course books for the 1st-4th departments and some course-related materials are available to borrow in the Learning Centre. There are also a number of central periodicals, collected judgments and preparatory studies available for use in the Learning Centre.
