Bakgrunn

Christina Voigt (født i 1971) tiltrådte 15. april 2011 som førsteamanuensis i fast stilling ved Institutt for offentlig rett.

Voigt studerte rettsvitenskap ved Universität Passau i Tyskland og har Første (1996) og Andre (1999) juridiske statseksamen. Hun har graden Master of Laws in Environmental Law (LL.M. – Envir) fra University of Auckland, New Zealand (2002) og graden dr. juris fra Universitetet i Oslo (2007) på avhandlingen “Sustainable Development as a Principle of Integration in International Law – Resolving Potential Conflicts between WTO Law and Climate Change Mitigation Measures”.
Hun har tidligere jobbet som advokatfullmektig i Tyskland. Fra september 2002 til desember 2007 jobbet hun som stipendiat ved Institutt for offentlig rett, og hun var postdoktorstipendiat ved samme institutt siden 2008-2011. I tillegg har hun siden 2007 fagansvar for kurset ”International Environmental Law” ved Universitet i Lund, Juridiska Institusjonen, Sverige.

Hun har dessuten vært juridisk rådgiver til flere norske organisasjoner og institusjoner. Disse inkluderer: Changemaker, Regnskogfondet (NGO) og Miljøverndepartementet.

Forskningsfelt

Christina Voigt arbeider hovedsakelig med internasjonal og nasjonal miljørett, særlig klimarett, og med generell folkerett. Hennes postdoktorstilling var finansiert av Norges Forskningsråd og er knyttet til forskningsprosjektet ’Sustainable Energy Markets’ i regi av forskergruppen for naturressursrett.
