Interim Provisions on Guidance for Foreign Investment
(Jointly promulgated by Decree No.5 of the State Planning Commission, the State Economic and Trade Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation on June 20, 1995)

Article 3

The State Planning Commission, acting in concert with relevant State Council departments, will regularly compile and intermittently amend the Industrial Catalog Guiding Foreign Investment (hereinafter referred to as the Catalog) in accordance with the provisions and national economic and technological development. The Catalog will be released with the approval of the State Council.

The Catalog shall serve as the basis for guiding the examination and approval of foreign-funded projects.
