Where any staff member of the Patent Office or any of the relevant State functionaries engages in malpractice for private gains, he shall be given administrative sanctions by the Patent Office or the competent authorities concerned. If the circumstances are serious, he shall be investigated for criminal liability by applying mutatis mutandis Article 188 of the Criminal Law.
