Hilde K. Ellingsen
Ellingsen is writing a PhD-thesis with the working title: “Judicial enforcement of EU law through Private Party litigation – Who can enforce EU law and for what purposes?”
Hilde Ellingsen holds a master’s degree in law (cand.jur) from the University of Oslo 2006 and an LL.M. from New York University School of Law 2010. Prior to becoming a research fellow, she worked as a higher executive officer/legal adviser in the Legislation Department of the Norwegian Ministry of Justice (2006-2008 and 2010-2012) and as an associate at the General Attorney’s Office (2008-2009).
As from September 1st 2012, Ellingsen is employed as a PhD-scholar at the Center for European Law. She spent fall semester 2012 as a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University Law School.
