    International law expert Helen Keller was appointed Judge at the European Court of Human Rights in respect of Switzerland in 2011. Judge Helen Keller was a member of the United Nations Human Rights Committee (2008-2011), a visiting researcher at the ECtHR in Strasbourg (2009) and is a professor of law at Zurich University. She has also been a research fellow at the European Law Research Centre at Havard Law School and at the European University Institute in Florence.
