Investor - State Dispute Settlement in TTIP and CETA: Institutionalization of Unjustified Privilege

In this International Law lunch the guest speaker Professor Dr. Mattias Kumm will talk about the Investor - State dispute settlement in the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and the EU - Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

Professor Dr. Mattias Kumm specializes in the European Law, International Law, Comparative Constitutional Law and Legal Philosophy. He is the Managing Head of the WZB (Berlin Social Science Center) Rule of Law Center and has published extensively in the field of his expertize. Dr. Kumm's lecture is particularly interesting in the light of the new model agreement for investments that was recently circulated for comment by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries.
