Annual Conference 2016: Dispute Settlement in the Law of the Sea and Beyond
This year's conference will be held in Tromsø, and will address a range of issues with speakers and participants from three distinguished research communities.

PluriCourts will be cooperating with The K.G. Jebsen Centre for the Law of the Sea (JCLOS) and The Department of Philosophy, University of Tromsø for this year's annual conference in Tromsø from May 26-28.
We have an exciting program lined up, with the honorary lecture given by Robin Churchill (University of Dundee). He will speak on the "Compulsory Dispute Settlement Under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS)". Comments for the lecture will be provided by Karen Alter (Northwestern University) and Mathias Slåttholm Sagdahl (University of Tromsø).
Other speakers at the conference include Alex G. Oude Elferink (JCLOS and University of Utrecht), Nigel Bankes (JCLOS and University of Calgary), Christina Voigt (PluriCourts), Tullio Treves (University of Milan), and Lucie Delabie (Université de Picardie Jules Verne).
There will also be comments provided to the various presentations by other prominent members of the three research communities.
The conference takes place in Tromsø as well on Sommarøy.
External participants: Participants not affiliated with PluriCourts, JCLOS or the Department of Philosophy at the University of Tromsø are welcome to attend the conference. However, we are unable to offer any funding support for flights, meals, and accommodation.
