ESIL 2015: Call for proposals

The 11th European Society for International Law (ESIL) Annual Conference 2015 will be held in Oslo 10-12 September. The organizing committee now invites scholars to send proposals for papers as well as panels of speakers for a single agora.

The annual conference of the European Society of International Law has become one of the indispensable venues for European and international scholars interested in international law. The 11th ESIL Annual Conference of will take place in Oslo, Norway 10-12 September 2015. It is hosted by the PluriCourts - Centre for the Study of the Legitimate Roles of the Judiciary in the Global Order, University of Oslo.

The conference is titled "The Judicialization of International Law - A Mixed Blessing?". The conference will address the international law aspects of the increased judicialization from an interdisciplinary perspective.

The conference will feature plenary sessions, fora with invited speakers, and a number of agorae with speakers selected on the basis of a call for proposals [pdf] . The event also offers poster sessions for junior scholars following a call for posters [pdf] . The Organising Committee of the conference invites all scholars to submit proposals for papers to be presented at the conference, as well as proposals for a full panel of speakers for a single agora. The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2015.
