A Strengthened International Criminal Law Team

Two new researchers will bolster the international criminal law research at PluriCourts. Joanna Nicholson and Kjersti Lohne will both contribute to the edited book The Legitimacy and Effectiveness of International Criminal Tribunals.

Nicholson, who holds a PhD from the Norwegian Centre of Human Rights, will in addition focus on the use of precedent by international criminal courts and tribunals. Her primary focus will be on the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The international criminal law team is headed by coordinator professor Cecilia Bailliet. Postdoctoral fellow Silje Langvatn and researchers Shakira Bedoya, Nobuo Hayashi, Suzanne Dovi, Joanna Nicholson and Kjersti Lohne complete the group.
