Registration Open for Concluding Conference of the MultiRights Project

The concluding conference of the MultiRights project will take place at the University of Oslo on February 29 and 1 March 2016. The conference will focus on analyzing and comparing the reform processes of the UN treaty bodies and of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) aiming at finding mutual learning experiences.

The concluding conference of the MultiRights project will take place at the University of Oslo on February 29 and 1 March 2016. The conference will focus on analyzing and comparing the reform processes of the UN treaty bodies and of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) aiming at finding mutual learning experiences.  A particular focus will be given to the following issues:

  1. Procedure of selection of members and judges
  2. Case load situation
  3. Quality of reasoning
  4. Margin of appreciation and subsidiarity
