Scholarship to Kjersti Hetland and Aina Isdal Haugland
The China Program has awarded two MA students, Kjesti Hetland and Aina Isdal Haugland with scholarships to carry out research on China and human rights related issues.
Kjesti Hetland, Master student in Chinese Society and Politics from University of Oslo, will in her thesis explore what the determinants of labor standards in China are and how labor standards can be improved. Her working title is “Improvement of Labor Standards in China”.
Aina Isdal Haugland, Master student from Institute for administration and organization theory at University of Bergen, will research on the topic of Institutional Autonomy and Academic Freedom in China.
The China Programme is happy to welcome Kjesti and Aina as our MA-scholarship students and is looking forward to following their progress.
