Fish market in eastern Indonesia

Poverty remains a major concern in Indonesia. The Indonesian government ratified the covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural rights in 2006. The Indonesia programme aims to strenghten ESC-rights through capacity building at local and national level. So far, the main partners so have been the Indonesian National Commission for Human Rights, and the NGO the Ecosoc Institute.
