The Socio-Economic Rights Programme - SERP
Over the last two decades, economic, social and cultural rights have gained increased recognition. However, the global challenges of systemic poverty and discrimination remain enormous and there is a continuous need to explore how these rights are best addressed.
SERP was established in June 2009 with the aim of supporting research, policy-making, advocacy and education on socio-economic rights at the national and international levels. It seeks to build on and develop the Centre’s long tradition in research and promotion in this field.
