The Economic Rights of The Girl Child

On the 24. September. 2009 the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Plan Norway and the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights (SERP) hosted an international conference on the economic rights of the girl child.  The conference focused on the economic rights of girls, particularly the right to inheritance and land/property, in order to strengthen the commitment to place girls' economic rights on the international agenda.
