This research training course will specifically look at comparative analysis as one of the approaches used by the legal discipline as well as other disciplines in the social sciences and humanities.
The Nordic Network in Human Rights Research hosts a research panel on methodological challenges in human rights research in Vienna, Austria on September 12th-13th 2012.
The research panel is held in conjunction with the AHRI Annual Conference.
This course aims at enhancing the awareness of and the capacity to apply different methods in human rights research. It also gives PhD candidates an opportunity to present and receive in-depth comments on their ongoing research.
The meeting will serve both as a closing event for the Human Rights in the Age of Globalisation Network and a kick-off event for the new Methodology Network. The meeting will include brief scientific presentations on topics related to methodological challenges in human rights research.
