The China Programme at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights and the Norwegian Ethical Trading Innitiative (IEH) welcomes you to a seminar on CSR in China with presenters and experts from both China and Norway.
The ICC Legal Tools Programme was established in accordance with a Co-operation Agreement between the Centre and the International Criminal Court (ICC), and has been a lead partner to the Courts’ Legal Tools Project.
A seminar on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the entry into force of the Statute of the International Criminal Court, organised by the Forum for International Criminal and Humanitarian Law, with support from the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in co-operation with the University of Oslo (Faculty of Law, Norwegian Centre for Human Rights)
The course seeks to provide participants with introductory knowledge of international human rights that will broaden their perspectives and opportunities for integrating human rights principles, standards and approaches into their daily work.

The main objectives of the conference are to encourage
- interdisciplinary and international reflection and exchange on core human rights dilemmas pertaining to group autonomy
- publication of articles in a separate volume, or as individual papers in recognized journals
The conference aims to raise public awareness on human rights issues which are key concerns of researchers and programs at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights.

The China Programme at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights welcomes you to a seminar by Mr. Dong Heping, Professor of Constitutional Law, Northwest University of Politics and Law. The topic for Professor Dong Heping’s lecture is “Human rights in China: Constitutional and legal developments”.

Noen av de viktigste elementene innen bedrifters samfunnsansvar (CSR) er hvordan bedrifter i nord og sør kan bedre menneske- og arbeidstakerrettigheter i global produksjon og handel. Initiativ for etisk handel (IEH) og Norsk senter for menneskerettigheter (SMR) inviterer til en seminarrekke hvor fokus er bedrifters samfunnsansvar i Vietnam, Kina og Indonesia.

Professor Roman Podoprigora foreleser. Han er en internasjonalt kjent menneskerettsekspert og jurist fra Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The meeting will serve both as a closing event for the Human Rights in the Age of Globalisation Network and a kick-off event for the new Methodology Network. The meeting will include brief scientific presentations on topics related to methodological challenges in human rights research.
