Concluding Accommodating Difference:

Presenting a special issue of International Journal on Minority and Group Rights, Volume 13, Number 2 / June, 2006

To conclude the research project Accommodating Difference, a special issue of International Journal on Minority and Group Rights has been released. This particular issue has been edited by Andreas Føllesdal and Nils Butenschøn of the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, NCHR. The issue presents several contributions affiliated with the research project.

The NCHR invites to a presentation seminar on this particular issue.

Time: Tuesday, October 10, between 14.15 - 16:00
Venue: The seminar room, NCHR, Universitetsgaten 22-24, Oslo

Mr. Føllesdal will open the seminar by presenting the research project and discuss this way of publicising research projects as opposed to e.g. an anthology, considering various scientific and strategical aspects.
During the second half of the seminar, Anne Julie Semb of the Institute of Political Science, University of Oslo, will comment on Mr. Butenschøn's contributing article Accommodating Conflicting Claims to National Self-determination. The Intractable Case of Israel/Palestine.
This comment will be followed by a brief discussion.
Mr. Butenschøn's article will be available during the seminar, and upon request from the NCHR reception, tel. no 22 84 20 01.
