The aim of Beate Fiskerstrand's Phd project is to analyze under which circumstances a third party may be held liable in tort for causing a breach of contract between two other parties under Norwegian law.

The goal of the project is to provide a better understanding of the role of contracts in procuring cloud-computing services. The research will evaluate terms and conditions used in cloud computing services and the general contractual structure of cloud computing agreements.  

The subject matter of the project is contracts pertaining to the maritime sector; like charterparties, newbuilding contracts, contracts for sale and purchase of ships.
