25 Asian academics and NGO representatives working on disability, gender and SOGI issues met in Kathmandu, Nepal 20-22 March to discuss a book project on disability, sexuality and gender in Asia.
In March 2018 Dr. Si Li started the first undergraduate course on gender and human rights at Guangzhou University after participating in teacher training seminars under the auspice of NCHR partners RWI and CUPL.

The NCHR hosted a panel on Human Rights of Women and Sexual Minorities in China during 'Age Agency and Ambiguity' -an international conference on gender and generations in times of social change held in Oslo this week.
