About the launch
Understanding the impact of the corporation on society and realizing its potential for contributing to sustainability is vital for the future of humanity. The Cambridge Handbook comprehensively assesses the state of the art in this field through in-depth discussion of sustainability-related problems, numerous case studies on regulatory responses implemented by jurisdictions around the world, and analyses of predominant strategies and potential drivers of change.
At the launch, the editors, Professor Beate Sjåfjell, University of Oslo, and Professor Christopher M. Bruner, University of Georgia, USA, will present the volume, its framework and its aims. Invited commentators will then prepare the ground for a forward-looking discussion of how the volume impacts the conversation and what next steps should be – in terms of research, policy-making and public debate.
The launch is open to all interested, including academics, students, policy-makers, practitioners and journalists.
