Cancelled: Conference on Empirical Legal studies (CELSE) 2022

Due to the spread of COVID-19 and widespread introduction of restrictions on movement and assembly, the programme committee has, with deep regret, decided to cancel the conference that was originally scheduled to be held in Oslo in 2021.

The planned CELS-Europe 2022 conference (originally scheduled for June 2021) at the University of Oslo has been cancelled.

We wish to thank everyone for the many high quality papers that were submitted. Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances with COVID-19 we cannot proceed with the conference.

You may wish to consider submitting your paper to forthcoming SELS conferences in North America and Asia. You can follow this website here for details: https://www.lawschool.cornell.edu/sels/

We note that a digital conference was considered. However, due to the effects of the COVID-19 restrictions on the University of Oslo's administrative capacity, it is not possible to carry out a large digital conference in the current circumstances.

We look forward to future opportunities to discuss and debate empirical legal studies research.
