At the first Annual Network Meeting of the SMART Network in September 2025, the Steering Committee was appointed for the period until the next Annual Network Meeting. The Steering Committee consists of the following members:

A group of six SMART members volunteered to be a part of the first Steering Committee for the SMART Network and work towards its revitalisation, resulting in the first SMART Network Symposium and first Network Meeting, held in September 2025.
