Professor Roman Petrov (National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Jean Monnet Chair

The lecture deals with current and future challenges related to the effective implementation and application of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement within the legal system of Ukraine. In particular, it focuses on the constitutional reforms and 'reloading' of the Ukrainian judiciary caused by the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Also the lecture illustrates how the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement influenced current political and legal processes in Ukraine (approximation of national legislation with the EU acquis, ban on Russian social networks, education law and others).

The project is financed by The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU), and is a part of  EURASIA – European Law educational cooperation Oslo – Ukraine
