Background
Peter Davis graduated from the University of Western Australia with an LLB and B.Com in 2015 before taking up Articles in a multidisciplinary firm (Cullen Macleod) where he worked primarily in the area of commercial litigation.
After being admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, Peter commenced an LLM in Information Communication Technology Law at the University of Oslo. During his thesis semester he was engaged as a Research Assistant for the SIGNAL project, focusing on the area of data protection and privacy. He is now a PhD candidate under the SIGNAL project where he is writing on regulatory issues relating to cryptography.
Lecturing
Peter has lectured in the Cybersecurity and Electronic Commerce courses, and will take over the English Law of Contract course whilst Lee Bygrave is on sabbatical.
