The interaction of contract models and governing law is a topic of interest not only for the academy and for the court system, it has interest also for the legislator (in view of possible reforms to enhance unification of the contract law), and first of all for the practice of international business. To gain advantage of this common interest, we established a users' group, with representatives from all involved parties.
The Users' Group is meant both as an advisory forum and as an addressee of our research. As an advisory forum, the group will give input on the identification and formulation of research themes, as well as contribute with practical insight to ensure the relevance of the perspectives chosen for the research. As an addressee of our research, the group will receive presentations of the results of our research.
Representatives of companies engaged in export and import, as well as lawyers engaged in international contracting, participate in the Users' Group.
