Charlotte Aslesen

Background
Charlotte has a master’s degree in history from the University of Oslo (2020). She is currently research assistant and project coordinator of the interdisciplinary research project Nordic Branding and is most involved with a media analysis of foreign news outlets’ coverage of the Nordic response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her thesis title was «Gendering the Emotionality of a Revolution: Male revolutionaries’ emotional expression after the establishment of the southern Irish state» and her initial field of research is gender history, Irish nationalism, and the history of emotions. As a student she was one of two editors-in-chief of the student publication Fortid (2019-2020).
