Daniel Erik Kenth Arnesson

Academic interests
International and national aspects of energy and environmental law as well as the relationship between law and development.
Background
Daniel Arnesson was born in Sweden and commenced his legal studies at Örebro University in 2007. He developed an interest for development issues during these studies. This motivated him to do field studies in Kenya and Vanuatu as well as assisting the Red Cross in teaching on international law and human rights. Daniel holds a Master of Environmental Law from 2011 from the University of Sydney and he completed the Master of Legal Science at Örebro University in 2013.
Daniel has since 2010 worked with energy and development issues in different context and with various stakeholders and organisations. These are areas that Daniel now is focusing on in his PhD Research project, with the working title 'Renewable Energy Law in the Face of International Diversity'.
