Lunch with Professor Vera Gowlland-Debbas

Gowland Debbas will present some of her recent work on international courts during an informal PluriCourts lunch on Monday 9th december.

Vera Gowlland Debbas is Honorary Professor of International Law at the Graduate Institute Geneva and a Visiting Professor at University College London. She has also  been a Visiting Fellow at All Souls College, Oxford;  the Institut des Hautes Etudes Internationales, Université Paris II; and the University of California, Berkeley. The special courses she has given have included the Hague Academy of International Law, the European University Institute in Florence, and the Institut des droits de l’homme in Strasbourg. Her teaching, expertise and publications cover such topics as United Nations law, Security Council sanctions, international responsibility, treaty law, the International Court of Justice, refugee law and human rights.
