Rethinking the Legal Form and Principles of a New Climate Agreement

This chapter aims at clarifying the legal character of a climate agreement, the benefits of a legally binding climate agreement and the differenciated approach between states in the agreement. The authors conclude by proposing the substantive content and legal form a future climate agreement could have.
