The FDI International Arbitration Moot

The Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot is a specialized simulation of investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS). It takes place at different locations each year and attracts teams globally. Law students gain practical insight into the resolution of Investment disputes.

The 2016 competition - Expressions of interest

The 2015 competition

The first team participated in the 2015 competition at King's College, London. Participants were Anja Stensrud Elverum, Liubov Barabanskaia, Rinat Ziyodullaev, and Monika Bernard. Coaches were Daniel F. Behn and Maksim Usynin. The team won the prize for “Best Damages Aspect”, which was a special award for the best damages as arguments in a memorial (published in TDM). The team was ranked no. 35 overall (68 teams were registered). Read more about the team's preparations and their experiences from the competition in London.
