Introductory Course in Human Rights
The NCHR Academy of Human Rights is pleased to announce the 2015 Introductory Course in International Human Rights.
Introductory Course in International Human Rights - Class of 2014
The five day course will cover a comprehensive introduction to international human rights: their institutions and substantive rights, as well as their monitoring, implementation and enforcement.
The various topics will be taught by human rights researchers and practitioners, mainly based in Norway. They will provide lectures, case studies, and group work that actively engage participants in sharing of knowledge, practical experiences and challenges from their daily work. Participants are expected to actively engage in the course by participating in group work and discussions.
Recommended reading and detailed course description will be announced well in advance of the course.
