Book Launch: "Revolutionary Totalitarianism, Pragmatic Socialism, Transition Volume One, Tito's Yugoslavia, Stories Untold"

And "Titoism, Self-Determination, Nationalism, Cultural Memory Volume Two, Tito's Yugoslavia, Stories Untold"

Editors: Ognjenović, Gorana, Jozelić, Jasna (Eds.)

This books, two volumes, challenges decades of superficial and selective rhetoric about Tito’s Yugoslavia and its demise. In these two volumes, the book takes up a series of questions that deeply affected the politics, which belonged to the core definition of the political dialectics between the former Yugoslav republics.

These essays explore some of the gaps in the existing descriptions as well as some completely newly documented narratives.  The topics range from the abolition of the multi-party system, nonalignment,  the 1968 reinforcing, nationalism, and cultural memory position among others. As a result, a more detailed and nuanced picture occures of what Yugoslavia was all about.
