Intensive Course on International Human Rights 2018

NCHR is pleased to announce the 2018 Intensive Course on International Human Rights.

Time and place: 3-7 September, 2018, Cort Adelers gate 30, Oslo, Norway

This is a multi-disciplinary course that aims to give participants knowledge on various aspects related to International Human Rights standards, including

  • Prevailing international and regional human rights standards and their historical origin and political significance
  • The systems in place for protecting human rights at UN, regional and national level
  • Practical operationalization of human rights
  • Pertinent contemporary human rights issues including freedom of religion, refugee rights, and women’s rights

The course is to be attended by maximum 25 participants.

Course participants will be expected to prepare by reading training material in advance, which will be distributed through e-mail prior to the training.
