Introducing Investigative Interviewing in Thailand

The NCHR and The Norwegian Police Academy (PHS) conducted the first seminar on Investigative Interviewing in Bangkok on 22 March.

The seminar was opened by ambassador Kjetil Paulsen and vice president of the Royal Thai Police. In addition to the Thai police, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), The Deputy commissioner, prosecuting authorities, civil society organizations and researchers from different institutions participated.

Discussing future cooperation

Earlier in the day NCHR held a briefing for the Ambassador of the Thai police liaison network followed by a reception which provided a great opportunity for feedback and discussions. Future cooperation on interrogation and investigation was also discussed.
