Second training for judges on human rights and anti-corruption

A training on human rights and anti-corruption measures was conducted in Yogyakarta November 17 to 22. The participants were heads of Indonesian high, district and corruption courts from Indonesian western provinces in Sumatera, Java and Kalimantan.

The training was conducted in cooperation between the Indonesian Judicial Commission (KY), Centre for Human Rights Studies at the Indonesian Islamic University (Pusham UII) and the Indonesia Programme at NCHR.

Among the lecturers were Busyro Muqoddas, Suparman Marzuki, Bambang Widjojanto and Indonesia Programme Staff. The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission provided support through lecturing during the training.

The judges were presented with various topics concerning human rights and corruption and the relationship between them.
