Following an invitation from the Tanzanian government, the EU deployed an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to observe the general elections held on 25 October 2015. NORDEM sent three short term observers and one long term observer to this EOM.
One short term observer participated in the EUs observation of the Presidential elections, Senate and Deputy elections and the 2nd round of the local elections in Haiti on 25 October 2015.

A total number of 33 NORDEM election observers are currently taking part in the Election Observation Mission (EOM) of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) in Ukraine. On 25 October local elections will be held throughout the country.

Two long term and four short term observers participated in the OSCE/ODIHR's observation of the presidential elections in Belarus on 11 October.

NORDEM sent one short term election observer to the EUs observation of the presidential elections in Guinea on 11 October.

From 21-23 September NORDEM held a training in applied human rights work for its own roster members and secondees and NORDEM’s partner organizations.

OSCE/ODIHR has deployed a Limited Election Observation Mission (LEOM) to observe Turkey’s early parliamentary elections scheduled for 1 November. NORDEM has sent two experienced long-term observers to this mission.
The Kenyan delegation to NORDEM's study programme said, in an interview with TV 2, that they were so far impressed with the administration of the Norwegian local and municipality elections.
The delegation from Nepal was dissapointed with the low turnout. "At least 90 % should have voted" said the delegation from Nepal in an interview with NRK.

NORDEM is sending two long-term and four short-term observers to the Presidential elections in Belarus which are to be held on 11 October 2015.

One of the objectives of the NORDEM Study Programme is to enable the participants to make their own assessment of the Norwegian electoral process.
The participants are from Kenya, Mozambique, Sri Lanka and Nepal and represent national election commissions, parliamentary committees and civil society organizations in their respective countries.

Following an invitation from the Commissioner of Elections of Sri Lanka, the EU deployed an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to observe the parliamentary elections held on 17 August 2015. NORDEM sent one short term observer to the EOM.

“NORDEM observers have taken part in election observer missions for more than 20 years. This event proved a productive meeting place between international experts on election observation and election assistance and our experienced observers to develop methodology on election related violence," says the director of NORDEM, Marianne Kvan, on concluding the NORDEM Election Forum 2015.

OSCE/ODIHR is observing the local elections in Albania to be held on 21 June 2015. NORDEM is sending one long-term observer and four short-term observers to this mission.
