About the group
The study group examines historical negotiations, contemporary cases, and theoretical questions related to negotiation and mediation from a variety of disciplinary perspectives.
Negotiation refers to social processes aimed at reaching agreement with others in situations that involve both shared and conflicting interests. Mediation involves the assistance of a third party who facilitates the process without making a decision and may be understood as assisted negotiation.
The group employs a range of research methods, including case studies, quantitative methods, and legal research methods.
