Elisabeth Bjørnstøl, Head of Equality and non-discrimination at the NCHR International Department visited Indonesia last week in order to initiate a new cooperation programme on legal aid for women and disabled people in Indonesia.

This weekend Dr. River Hustad from the NCHR International Department contributed to an international webinar about human rights protection of vulnerable groups during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Last week, the NCHR organised a seminar about the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD) and equal recognition before the law for people with intellectual disabilities.

The Atlas-Alliance, the Norwegian Center for Human Rights (NCHR) and Plan International Norway observe the UN’s international day of persons with disabilities by organizing a one-day seminar on inclusive development 6. December.
