Law Student in the Master’s Degree Program, first year. Previously completed 60 credits in substance use and psychiatry, 60 credits in basic medical subjects, 60 credits in ambulance operations and management, as well as several years of experience in the ambulance service. I have also served as a union representative in Fagforbundet.

Why am I running for election?

As a student at the faculty, I know how important it is to have a voice that fights for an inclusive, fair, and academically strong study environment. I am running because I want to ensure that all students are heard – whether it concerns accommodation, teaching quality, or students' rights in meetings with the faculty administration.

As a person with dyslexia, I have personally experienced the challenges many students face related to accessibility and flexibility in teaching. I know how crucial it is for the faculty to consider different needs so that all students can have equally good learning conditions. This not only applies to students with disabilities but also to those who combine studies with work, health challenges, or family life.

What I will work for:

  • Better accommodation for students with health challenges and disabilities – we must ensure flexible solutions for those who, for various reasons, cannot always attend classes in person.
  • Improvements in the teaching and examination system – the assessment forms must be fair and considerate of the students' varying circumstances while maintaining the academic standards.
  • Students' voices in the faculty administration – we must ensure that students' opinions actually influence decisions, not just get heard without action.
  • A good study environment – both in terms of physical conditions like study spaces and temperature, and the psychosocial environment at the faculty.

As a former union representative in Fagforbundet, I have experience with negotiations, decision-making processes, and working for members' rights. I wish to use this experience to advocate for students' interests in the faculty board.

If you choose me, you will have a representative who will fight for students' rights and a more inclusive study environment!

Why am I running for election?

I am excited to run for the position of student representative. I am passionate about advocating for students' rights and ensuring that our voices are heard.

I believe in creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging academic environment where every student feels valued. If elected, I will work to improve communication between students and faculty, promote student well-being, and ensure that our concerns are addressed effectively.

Let’s create a study environment where every student feels heard, supported, and empowered to succeed. Your voice matters – so vote for me, and let’s shape a better student experience!

Sara Krymski (22)

Candidate Sara Krymski. Photo: Private.

Law Student in the Master’s Degree Program.

My name is Sara Krymski, and I am taking JUS2111 this semester. There is no doubt that our faculty has many strengths, but there are still areas that can be improved to provide students with an even better everyday experience.

Why am I running for election?

One challenge many students face is the lack of personal follow-up in teaching. This can often lead to uncertainty about course material and problem-solving. Therefore, I want to work for more individualized accommodation and follow-up for each student. It is important that the teaching gives everyone the opportunity to understand the theoretical content and apply it in practice.

At the same time, I want to focus on how Domus Juridica can be better adapted for both learning and well-being. This involves more social meeting places with comfortable seating, setups for social activities, and practical aids such as boards and other equipment that facilitate good study groups, collaboration, and independent study.

I am running because I believe that students' voices must be central to the faculty's work. I want to be a clear representative for the students and ensure that their needs and challenges are heard. At the same time, I want to be accessible to anyone who has input or issues they want to bring up. To ensure that all students have a voice, I will also ensure that there are information boards with contact information for myself and the other representatives on the faculty board. I will also be available to receive input by phone: +47 41131110 and sarakrym2@gmail.com.

If elected as the students' representative, I will work hard to protect their interests and contribute to a study environment that promotes both academic development and social well-being.
