Background
Kristoffer has a Master in Law (2016), a BSc in Mathematics and Economics (2018) and an MPhil in Economics (2022) from the University of Oslo, as well as an MSc in Law and Finance (2024) from the University of Oxford. He has worked, amongst other things, as a case handler at the pro bono initiative Gatejuristen (2013-2017) and as an associate and senior associate at the department of EU/EEA and competition law at Advokatfirmaet Thommessen (2018-2022).
Kristoffer started as a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Private Law in the spring of 2023. His PhD-project concerns the competition authorities' regulation of markets with commitments in antitrust investigations pursuant to Article 9 of EU Regulation 1/2003 and remedies in merger control pursuant to Article 6(2) and 8(2) of EU Regulation 139/2004 (and the Norwegian and EEA equivalents).
