The topic of Angelis’ PhD project is prison discipline in the US and Norway.
Background
Angelis was previously a prisoners’ rights attorney in the United States. Before that, she contributed to a research project about prison architecture in Norway as a Fulbright grantee. The project was affiliated with the UiO Department of Criminology & Sociology of Law and the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. She holds a J.D. from Yale Law School.
