Collaboration Agreement Between NAV and the Faculty of Law
In the spring 2021, NAV (The Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration) entered into a new agreement with the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo (JURFAK). The agreement is valid for the period 2021-2031 and aims to develop and strengthen legal research and education in areas where JURFAK has special prerequisites to cultivate strong, coordinated academic environments relevant to NAV.
The collaboration also aims to contribute to the systematic development of legal expertise within NAV to ensure reliable administration of the welfare programs for which NAV is responsible. Additionally, the objective is to disseminate research knowledge in the field to relevant academic communities within NAV and other public authorities.
The planned program areas for the agreement include:
- - Social security law
- - Digital welfare state
- - Plain language
