Book launch: "The Inter American Court of Human Rights"

Natalia Torres Zuniga will present her new book, "The Inter American Court of Human Rights. The legitimacy of international courts and tribunals," at this forum conversation hosted in collaboration with a research group at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

The research group "Constitutional Law and fundamental rights" (Faculty of Law, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru) and postdoctoral research fellow Natalia Torres Zuniga (Norwegian Centre for Human Rights) will organize a presentation on Natalia's book titled "The Inter American Court of Human Rights. The legitimacy of international courts and tribunals", Routledge, 2022.  

Format and language

The event's format will be a forum conversation between PhD Natalia Torres (University of Oslo), Doctor David Lovaton(Pontifical Catholic University of Peru) and PhD Juan Pablo Perez-Leon (University of Jyväskylä). The panelists will discuss their different viewpoints about the Inter American Court of Human Rights and the legal discourses around the legitimacy and image of the Court as a supra constitutional tribunal.
