About the seminar

The presentation will address the constitutional guarantees for the rights of the non-majority communities in Kosovo, a rather unique case in the European constitutional landscape. Specific reference shall be given to the role of the Kosovo Constitutional Court in upholding those rights, particularly in upholding the constitutional principle of multi ethnicity in Kosovo. The presentation will offer a critical overview on the legal implications of the Agreement on the path to normalisation between Kosovo and Serbia. It will specifically focus on the commitment to ensure an appropriate level of self-management for the Serbian community in Kosovo.
