About the Seminar
The seminar will present findings from the 2024 Scandinavian Human Rights Survey, carried out by the Norwegian Human Rights Institution (NIM), the Danish Institute for Human Rights, and the Swedish Institute for Human Rights. Drawing on responses from participants in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, it offers the first systematic comparison of public awareness, attitudes and perceptions of human rights. Key topics include the perceived relevance of human rights, attitudes towards specific rights, trust in institutions, and the rights seen as most at risk. The findings highlight differences and similarities between the three countries and aim to inform discussions on the role of human rights in society. Click for more details in the report.
