Research activities at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights (NCHR)

NCHR is a leading international research environment for International Human Rights. The rights are studied from a legal standpoint where the purpose is to determine the content of the norms and their implementation in national law, as a political process whereby human rights contribute to organising international and national societal relations, and as a cultural process where human rights contribute to influencing ways and means of expression, identities and social formations in different contexts.
